A majority of Ontario residents say that the arts are very important or somewhat important to improving their quality of life and the quality of life in their communities. More than half of Ontarians either strongly agree or somewhat agree that engaging children in the arts is important to their overall development, that arts activities help enrich the quality of our lives, and that the arts help us to understand other cultures better. More than three quarters of Ontario residents strongly agree or somewhat agree that the Government should spend public dollars to invest in the arts and that helping make the arts available to people in Ontario is an important government investment.
