MAC was proud to be a part of the HeART Care Symposium in November 2024. Presented by the Ottawa Art Gallery. The 1-day conference was a fast-paced intensive review of current arts for wellness programs, with discussion groups and a keynote address by Dr. Daisy Fancourt (Director of the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre on Arts and Health).
MAC’s own, Susan Durnin, presented a 10-minute overview of our ArtsCare programs and initiatives. It was a great day to network with like-minded arts professionals and develop conversations and partnerships with organizations across the country.
